CHRIST JYOTI SCHOOL

About Us

Christ Jyoti School was established on 7th February 1988. In the beginning the school was only a “kacha” building which was attached to Sacred Heart Convent. Near about four years the school continued there. Later on, a piece of land was bought close to the Sacred Heart Convent where the construction of the new school building began. Rev. Fr. C.M. Joseph and Rev. Sr. Assumpta S.H. were the first principal and headmistress respectively. The tireless effort and preserving endeavours of different principals, headmistresses and  staffs gave a new shape to Christ Jyoti school.

To crown the laurels, in March 2000 the first batch of students appeared for the high school leaving certificate examination. The first batch came out with flying colors. All of them passed with very high percentage marks.

We gratefully acknowledge the remarkable services and guidance rendered by the past principals namely Rev. Fr. C.M. Joseph, Rev. Fr. Mathew Mundoly, Rev. Fr. Tomy Orumpakatt and Rev.Fr. Stanislaus Chinliankhup(Vice Principal). We recall with gratitude the dedication and generosity of the past headmistresses Rev. Sr. Assumpta S.H., Rev. Sr. Elite S.H.,Rev.Sr.Philsey Jose S.H., Rev. Rani Maria S.H.,Rev. Sr. Licin Jose S.H., Rev. Sr. Annlit S.H. , and all the sisters of the Sacred Heart congregation who worked tirelessly to bring up the school to the present state. We can never forget the commitment and collaboration of the teachers who worked and are working.

Message From The Principal

Education is a fundamental right for every human being and a cornerstone of a healthy, successful society. It has the power to transform lives, open up opportunities, and bring people from all walks of life together.

At its core, education is about more than just learning facts and figures. It is about developing critical thinking skills, gaining knowledge and perspective, and learning how to communicate and collaborate effectively with others. It is about empowering individuals to reach their full potential and make a positive impact on the world.

In today’s rapidly changing world, education is more important than ever before. It is the key to unlocking a wide range of career opportunities and to staying competitive in an increasingly globalized job market. It is also essential for staying informed and engaged in important issues that affect our lives and our communities.

But education is about more than just personal and professional success. It is also about personal growth and self-improvement. It is about expanding our understanding of the world around us and developing the skills and knowledge we need to make a positive difference in the world.

In short, education is essential for a fulfilling, successful, and meaningful life. It is the foundation upon which we build our future and our dreams, and it is something that should be valued and supported by all members of society.
